ALAN JACKSON's Lemonade cafes are taking Los Angeles by storm. Five years ago, Jackson (formerly of Jackson's and The Farm in Beverly Hills) opened the fast-casual restaurant Lemonade in West Hollywood; it was so successful, he opened eight additional locations, with more to come. Jackon lives with his family in L.A.JOANN CIANCIULLI has written nearly a dozen cookbooks, most recently the acclaimed L.A.'s Original Farmers Market Cookbook, the Recipe Rehab Cookbook, and the Master Chef Cookbook. As a producer, her television credits include Recipe Rehab on ABC, Master Chef on FOX, Food Network's Next Iron Chef, and Top Chef on Bravo. She lives in Los Angeles.

I love the food served at Lemonade. The flavor combinations are creative, irresistible and in some cases downright addictive. This book makes it possible to recreate my favorites at home. My absolute favorite dishes, although narrowing the list down is a hard call, are the "Cauliflower, Golden Raisins, Almonds and Curry" and the "Arugula, Fig, Blue Cheese, Sherry Vinaigrette" salads. I almost dream about them! Taking them to parties and pot lucks is a no-brainer.I'm a little puzzled by some of the criticisms I've read regarding the recipes being different from what is used by the chefs at the restaurants. I have made several recipes and think they are identical to what I have eaten at the restaurants. Perhaps the difference is in the quality of the ingredients being used. Not having perfectly ripe fruits and vegetables or substituting a different vinegar from the one called for can make a significant difference in the outcome of a recipe.Another criticism I've seen involves the amount of dressing. The recipes I've tried state how much dressing is needed for the recipe and the dressing recipes state how much in volume the recipe yields. In my experience, having the extra dressing is a boon not a burden. They are delicious to have on hand for the next few days for use on plain green salads, tossed with cooked vegetables or drizzled over grilled or roasted chicken. Since I could practically drink the Curry Vinaigrette, which takes a bit of prep time, there is simply no such thing for me as having leftover dressing!I have the kindle version which makes it very easy to pull up the recipes right at the market. What could be easier?

I absolutely love this cookbook! As a fan of Lemonade LA myself, I was so excited to receive this.The book is beautiful in itself with it's bright images, and a lot of the recipes are pretty simple. I don't think it's a 100% true to the recipes at their restaurant, but more "inspired". Still, all of the recipes are super delicious.A tip for those who are planning to make the dishes in this book, is that some of the ingredients might be hard to find at your normal super market. You might have to try heading to an asian/international market, or a specialty like Whole Foods or Sprouts to find the ingredients.

I love Lemonade! I always stop by whenever I'm in LA. It's so great to be able to make their delicious recipes at home. One thing I will mention, is that some of my favorites take a lot of prep time!

I’ve made a bunch of these recipes - especially the salads and sides. All amazing. I get compliments left and right.

So many fresh food ideas! While some of the ingredients can be a little esoteric, they can be easily substituted by other ingredients you might have in your pantry already. I love all of the salad ideas and am super excited to have a book filled with fresh healthy food ideas.

Love the restaurant but I don't live close enough to go often. The recipe book has become one of my staples especially for impressive entertaining. I love using my local farmers market to source local organic ingredients to prepare these tasty recipes. Yummmmm yummy in my tummy!

Great restaurant and great recipes that accurately replicates their food at home. Only negative is that the main dishes cross reference other recipes in the book, so building a shopping list from the ingredient list means flipping pages in the book to capture multiple recipes. It's worth it though.

If I coukd give 10 stars I would I love the recipies and i love the restaurant

The chicken chili and miso beef are worth the price of admission. Some things do require extensive ingredient lists. Don't expect simple recipes.
